After years of loyal patronage, it deeply saddens me to announce that I will no longer be visiting this establishment. My decision stems entirely from an appalling service experience, not from any issue with the food itself. Just last night, my partner and I encountered some of the most unexpectedly dreadful service I've experienced in a restaurant in a very long time. Considering I've been a regular for years and have enthusiastically recommended it to countless individuals, I'm certain the staff must recognize me, yet I can no longer, in good conscience, suggest it's a worthwhile place for your family to visit. The incident unfolded when I ordered a burrito and my partner requested two tacos; upon paying cash, we noticed the total was unusually high. A quick check of the receipt revealed we had been incorrectly charged for four extra tacos. Initially, I thought it was a simple, understandable mistake, common in a busy, noisy environment, especially given my own background working in restaurants. However, I was mistaken. Instead of a straightforward refund for the overcharge, the man behind the counter, whom I recognized, stepped back and began to aggressively dispute my girlfriend's order. His demeanor quickly turned hostile and disrespectful towards her, prompting me to intervene. I was appalled that he would imply she was mistaken or unintelligent over what was clearly a minor miscommunication. What made the situation even more unbelievable was that our food hadn't even been prepared at this point. He then continued to argue with me, at which point I demanded a full refund for our entire order, and only after considerable persistence did he finally process it. I will absolutely not be returning. For those seeking good burritos, El Sauz is conveniently located nearby, and I strongly recommend taking your family there instead, unless you enjoy being treated with such condescension. And if that's not enough to deter you, I've also, on multiple occasions, found bones in my food, a detail I've never mentioned before because I usually overlook such things.

While spending a few days in Glendale, I truly felt fortunate to stumble upon this gem, especially coming from Utah where truly fantastic Mexican restaurants are hard to come by. This spot is undeniably the real deal, offering an authentic taste that's hard to beat. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken tacos, made even better with the addition of fresh avocado – they were absolutely incredible!

I consistently find the food here to be exceptionally tasty. It's my preferred spot when I need a quick meal on the go, and I visit quite frequently. I can't recommend this place enough, as the wait times are always very manageable for such a convenient option.

I found the tacos here to be quite good, with the beef, pork, and chicken varieties standing out as the best. My main reservation, however, was the truly excessive amount of onions in them; while I don't mind onions, it felt like they were being used to compensate for the meat, as the onion-to-meat ratio was notably higher than any other taco place I've visited, which I consider a significant drawback. Despite this, it's a decent spot for tacos, but with so many fantastic options available throughout Glendale and LA, I'm not convinced I'd make it a regular stop. The tacos themselves would rate a 4/5, but that onion situation is a major problem. The tortas were just okay, earning a 3/5, suffering from a rather dilapidated bread structure that definitely needed more time on the grill.

Finding a solid taco spot in Glendale, a city not typically celebrated for its Mexican cuisine, was a pleasant surprise. They offer all the classic taco essentials, complete with a good selection of proteins to choose from, and if you're really craving tacos in the Glendale area, the food here will definitely hit the spot. My sole reservation was the chicken quesadilla, which came in at nine dollars without any accompanying sides; I felt that price point was a bit steep for what is essentially a small stand.

This place truly stands out as a top-tier taco shop. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of Al Pastor Tacos, which were packed with fantastic flavor. The accompanying fresh ingredients, like the vibrant cilantro and crisp jalapeños, really elevated the entire meal. I found the pricing to be very fair for the quality received. My only minor suggestion would be to consider updating the tables and chairs, as they currently possess a somewhat vintage charm.

This used to be my absolute favorite for Mexican food, especially since their tortas were always incredibly delicious. However, my experience has unfortunately shifted over time. By 2022, I noticed a significant change when my to-go burrito arrived quite small and stubby, much less substantial than what I was accustomed to, clearly a sign of shrinkflation. Fast forward to 2023, and the trend continues with prices steadily climbing while the quality seems to be heading in the opposite direction. It's truly disappointing to admit that I'm now on the hunt for a new spot that truly delivers value for my hard-earned money.

I was thoroughly impressed by the truly delicious tacos here, and the service was incredibly prompt, which I always appreciate. A pleasant surprise was their red salsa; it definitely packs a notable kick of spice, and I absolutely loved that unexpected heat.

I was absolutely delighted by the delicious lengua here! Everything tasted so fresh and good. Dropping in for just a couple of tacos, I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the entire meal. It even felt like a healthier option, which is always a plus! The prices were also very reasonable. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back for more of that yummy lengua, and it's convenient to know there are parking options.

My connection to this spot goes way back to 2017, and even after relocating from California in 2018, a visit isn't complete without stopping in for their Carne Asada Burrito, which is absolutely divine. Without a doubt, this is the finest burrito I've ever encountered; even living in Vegas, I've yet to find anything that measures up. The accompanying photos are from two separate trips, so seriously, you need to experience this place for yourselves. Their beverages are also incredibly good!
